Founder, CEO

Joana Opoku-Darko is a seasoned HR and Organizational Development professional with almost two decades of experience helping individuals and organizations unlock their full potential. Her career spans talent development, organizational design, coaching, and strategic HR advisory across diverse industries.

She believes that people form the engine of every successful organization. This belief has shaped her work, guiding organizations through change, building strong talents, and designing systems that help teams thrive.

Joana holds multiple advanced degrees, including master's qualifications in Human Resource Management & Development from the University of Salford Manchester and Development Communication form the University of Media Arts and Communication, and is currently pursuing another master's in organizational development. She is also a chartered HR practitioner with a strong passion for coaching and capability building.

As the founder of Yorel HR Partners, she brings a forward-thinking, human-centred approach to every engagement combining curiosity, empathy, and strategic insight to help clients become resilient and future-ready.
